What’s it all about?
My Money is an innovative three-year financial education project that aims to bring money management to life in every school.
This year My Money Week hit schools between June 28th and July 4th, and it was a great success! We produced free resources with hundreds of ideas, games and activities to help teach personal finance in a practical and engaging way. They are still available now, so you can plan your own My Money Week!
The programme will give all local authorities, school teachers, pupils and parents access to a bank of free resources to help integrate personal finance activities across young people’s lives. The resources are suitable right the way across the curriculum, from PSHE education to drama, and there are also resources for parents to use at home.
What’s on offer? Resources and activities
The My Money Programme offers schools an array of free print and online resources for primary and secondary teachers to use in delivering a comprehensive personal finance education programme in their schools. The resources are the product of extensive research, undertaken by EdComs, that gauged opinions of teachers and pupils across the country on their attitudes towards personal finances and personal finance education. A full list of what’s available can be found in the resources and activities section.
My Money Consultants
A team of nine regional consultants is working collaboratively with local authorities and schools across England to build and deliver a programme of fun and dynamic resources, lessons and activities.
