Spend or Save? Primary classroom interactive video
Hurrah! The holidays are coming up, but if Ben and Lily want to make sure they have the best time possible they’re going to need to save some money, fast!
In our interactive videos you can challenge your class to help Ben and Lily make all sorts of money decisions in the run up to their approaching holidays. All you have to do is display the video using a projector or an interactive whiteboard at the front of the class.
The video is broken up into branching scenes, which end with decision points where you can discuss the decisions at hand and your pupils can decide what each character should do. The consequences of different choices are then explored in the next chapter of the story.
There is a lesson plan available to download below, which is based around a whole-class discussion of the issues presented in the videos and a series of flexible options to extend learning.
