Rules, terms and conditions
- This competition is organised and administered by the personal finance education
group (pfeg), Fifth Floor, 14 Bonhill Street, London EC2A 4BX
pfeg is limited by guarantee no. 3943766, registered charity no. 1081639
- The competition is open to residents of England only. Entries from outside England
will not be considered.
- Entrants must be at least 5 years-old and no older than 7 years-old at the
closing date of the My Money Competition to take part in the age 5–7 category,
and at least 8 years-old and no older than 11 years-old at the closing date of
the My Money Competition for the age 8–11 category (My Money Competition closing
date: Sunday 3rd July 2011).
- The competition is not open to employees (or members of their immediate families)
of pfeg or its partners in the delivery of the My Money programme.
- Teachers and entrants will need to provide pfeg with their name,
age, school name, address, telephone number and email address to enter this competition.
pfeg will only use entrants' personal details for the purposes
of administering the competition, and will not publish them or provide them to any
other party without first getting permission.
- Only one entry will be accepted per entrant.
- Entries must be 2D and no larger than A4. All entries must include a filled out
copy of the teacher entry form and pupil entry form to be judged. Each page submitted
should have the full entrant name, age and school name written clearly at the top.
- Competition closes at 11:59pm Sunday 3rd July 2011.
- The address provided on the competition entry form will be used to send any prizes,
and the telephone number to notify winners, so please make sure these are correct.
- No responsibility can be accepted for any entries lost, delayed or mislaid for any
reason whatsoever. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
- All expenses incurred as part of entering the competition, unless specifically stated,
are the sole responsibility of the entrant.
- Judging: pfeg's decision regarding regional and national winners
is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Entries will be judged on how closely they meet the brief of designing a coin that
represents “My Money, My Future” and explaining the reasons behind the design, as
laid out in the website guidelines, lesson plans and top ten tips on www.mymoneyonline.org
- Winners' details and winning entries will be available on request, by sending a
stamped addressed envelope to:

- pfeg regrets that no entries can be returned. If you would like
to keep the original artwork, please send a copy of your entry.
- pfeg retains an exclusive perpetual license to reproduce the entries
across all media formats. Each entrant agrees that pfeg (and third
parties authorised by them), if it so decides, may make their entry available on
its websites and on any other media.
- Entrants may be filmed on national/regional TV.
- Entrants may be required to take part in promotional activity and pfeg
reserves the right to use the names, schools and towns of winners, their photographs
and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity related to the competition.
- Entrants must be available during all weekends in September 2011 to attend the My
Money prize-giving weekend (specific dates TBC).
- Prizes:
- a. The overall national winner will win:
- For the pupil:
- i. Nintendo 3DS
- ii. digital camera
- iii. goody bag of art materials
- iv. trip to the Science Museum
- v. £30 gift vouchers
- For the school:
- vi.£1,000 cash for their school
- b. Five regional winners will each receive:
- For the pupil:
- i. digital camera
- ii. goody bag of art materials
- iii. trip to the Science Museum
- iv. £30 gift vouchers
- For the school:
- v. £500 cash for their school
- Entrants chosen to attend the trip to London will be reimbursed by pfeg
for travel costs incurred for standard class rail travel to London for each regional
winner and a parent/carer or school support person from within England only. If
the regional winners live outside London, pfeg will accommodate
the winners and a parent/carer or school support person in a London hotel for one
night during one weekend of September 2011 on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
Date and hotel accommodation to be specified by pfeg.*
- Prizes will not be transferable to another person.
- No part of the non-cash prizes are exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
- If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative
prize of equal or greater value.
- To the fullest extent allowed by law, pfeg accepts no responsibility
for disappointment, loss or injury suffered by any entrant as a result of participation
in the competition.
- This promotion is governed by the law of England and Wales.
- Entry will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
*Transport to and from London, one night's accommodation and dinner costs
will be covered for up to four people
